Electrosurgical apparatus ARC 250
The ARC 250 from BOWA is a top-class electrosurgical cutting and coagulation device. The device is designed for use in various fields of electrosurgery. One monopolar and one bipolar instrument can be connected for use in surgery, plastic surgery, ENT, gastroenterology, dermatology, urology and gynaecology. All basic electrosurgical functions are available to the operator in combination with the latest control technology.
Special programmes in gastroenterology and urology
With the GastroCut ARC 250's modes, you can achieve the best possible results in polypectomy, papillotomy and endoscopic resections using loop or knife electrodes. The sequence of cutting and coagulation pulses can be adjusted variably to three speeds, "slow", "medium" and "fast", according to the respective requirements. This way, each step is already optimised. The coagulation effect can be easily adjusted in nine steps using the effect setting. This allows for both a gentle operation to avoid complications and a fast procedure.
Resection - ideal for urology
With a power output of 250 W, the ARC 250 offers the ideal prerequisite for resections with monopolar resectoscopes and hysteroscopes. Even vaporisation is possible with the device.
Fast and intuitive electrosurgical device with useful functions
The settings for the monopolar and bipolar connectors are set using the direct selection keys. All settings are displayed on the front panel of the unit and on the LCD display. For greater user convenience, various programmes with recommended basic unit settings are available for selection. A total of 100 programmes can be individually configured and stored.
The ARC 250 is equipped with useful functions such as AUTO START and safety features such as EASY neutral electrode monitoring or the built-in error memory and continuous ISSys self-test. The ARC CONTROL arc controller provides reproducible effects on tissue and reliable power measurement. It adjusts the power output to the minimum required based on differences in fabrics and changes in the cutting surface or speed.
