Powerful universal device for electrosurgical cutting and coagulation

The BOWA ARC 303 stands for high-performance, first-class electrosurgical cutting and coagulation. The RF generator is designed for use in general electrosurgical applications. Two monopolar instruments and one bipolar instrument can be connected to the device.

The ARC 303 is equipped with useful functions such as AUTO START and safety features such as EASY neutral electrode control or the built-in error memory and continuous ISSys self-test. The ARC CONTROL arc controller provides reproducible fabric effects and reliable power measurement. It adjusts the power output to the required minimum depending on differences in fabrics and changes in surface or cutting speed.

Sometimes operations require the simultaneous use of electrosurgery in several places:

• Gynaecology, e.g. mastectomy
• Surgery for injuries, such as polytrauma.
• Thanks to the simultaneous activation of the two handles, the ARC 303 enables two surgeons to perform hemostasis.

Special applications in urology and gastroenterology

• Resection - ideal for urology
• With a power of 300 W, the ARC 303 from BOWA offers the ideal prerequisites for resections with monopolar resectoscopes and hysteroscopes. Evaporation is also possible.

GastroCut for gastroenterology

With the GastroCut ARC 303's modes, gastroenterologists can achieve the best possible results in polypectomy, papillotomy and endoscopic resections using loop or knife electrodes. The sequence of cutting and coagulation current pulses can be adjusted variably to three speeds, "slow", "medium" and "fast", to suit the respective requirements. This way, each step is already optimised. The coagulation effect can be easily adjusted in nine steps using the effect setting. This allows for both gentle operation to avoid complications and fast procedure times.
