In collaboration with a renowned monitor manufacturer in Japan, MITAKA KOHKI\u2122 is applying the technology developed for space observations to the production of its microscopes. Together they have developed a high-precision, medical-grade 3D visualisation system with real-time processing. It recreates the view under the microscope with precise depth of field and colour reproduction, giving surgeons a view of the real scene as if through their own eyes.<\/p>\n
The bionic IPD design of the MM51YOH microsurgical system provides surgeons with a real, natural depth of field. The independent imaging modes for the left and right eyes maintain a high level of synchronisation. This prevents fatigue and dizziness, even during prolonged observation, thus increasing efficiency and reducing surgical risk.<\/p>\n
The MM51 YOH surgical microscope can be connected to external monitors to transmit high-quality 3D images to the operating room. This allows surgeons to share their first-person view with students in real time, save footage of the operation to use later for training, share a video stream in real time, allowing remote consultations with other surgeons, etc.<\/p>\n
